Two people were about to depart on a journey named "In His Steps".This all started one Saturday night, when a man named Ed from Alabama and a lady named Nancy from Florida attended a revival at a Church of God in Whitesburg, Georgia. Neither had met before, although they attended a Church in Peachtree City, Georgia at the same time. God`s plan for their lives was not yet ready. They had to be tested and they sure were. Each had to go thru the fires of life ( For You Shall Go Thru The Fire, But It Will Not Consume You) Each had a dream from early childhood to sing gospel music and a ministry of helping people. In the year of 1999 two people started their journey. After a couple of months they named the group "In His Steps" (1st Peter 2:21). God has blessed their ministry with many popular songs written by Ed and Nancy . Some of these great songs played on radio and TV around the world are "Listening For The Sound", "My New Home","Later Than You Think" ,"Were Has Prayer Gone", "Enter To Worship","It`s About Time","First Moments","One Drop","Walk Close To Him" and many more.

Ed and Nancy for the past 9 years have been blessed to sing and preach all over the east coast up thru West Virginia. They have had several different people singing as part of the group but have always been known as a duet. Jimmy Mann travels with them and sings solo at most service`s. Jim is our right hand helping set up the sound equiptment and any job that need`s doing . In His Steps are recording artist on BCS Records. From 2004 until mid 2008 we have been blessed to be Steeple Records recording artist at Chapel Valley Studios in Sharps Chapel ,Tenn. owned and operated by Shane,Travis, Paul and Jetta Roark. We appreciate all the great work the Roark`s did for us over these years and appreciate them as one of Southern Gospel`s greatest "The Roark`s"

Over the past 2 years God has worked in many special ways, healing my heart and back, healing my wife Bunny of cancer and Mrs. Nancy when she was given several hours to live. We`ve seen miracles far more than I could ever tell. I`ve seen things go bad, gospel groups turning from following Jesus Christ to following themself`s. I`ve had so called friends that called themself`s "Christian`s" become jealous of what God is doing for anyone but them . We`re in the last day`s and only what we do for Him will last. We have traveled across this great country singing and preaching, God told me in my spirit last year it`s time to go back home and prepare for" The Return Of Our Saviour Jesus Christ". Ed , Bunny and Nancy after 9 years has returned to Gray Hill Church of God our home church .We will worship there when we`re not out doing what God called us to.The ministry of "In His Steps" .
